The Brief:
To create a series of cute characters and a logo, that would be used in the branding of a children's after school group. The Kabin is a privately run group for children between the ages of 4 and 11. It provides out of school care and activities serving its local community. We were approached by Lindsay and Tracy, who runs the Kabin, to create some branding as they had recently taken ownership of this long-established care facility. We love this sort of challenge, so we quickly got to work creating these loveable monsters.
MOnsters for little monsters
The Kabin Krittaz were created to have a very child-like look to them, as well as being friendly and genderless. We created monsters as they are designed to appeal to your little monsters, and are easy to use in a genderless, racially ambiguous, cultureless way. This makes them very flexible and relatable for all.
Kabbi, Snips, greengrass & munch - the kabin krittaz
The Kabin Krittaz are colourful monsters who live within the Kabin.
They have mischievous and fun personalities and are associated with various skills and activities that the Kabin runs, such as art, craft and messy play, outdoor play, staying safe and food and hygiene. Each Kritta has a role to play to ensure the children have a safe and fun time at The Kabin.
